SEPTEMBER 2ND, 2010 BULLETIN A DAY TODAY If you have a schedule problem, please sign up in your homeroom to have an appointment with Guidance and you will be called to your Guidance Counselors Office. The library will be open to study halls beginning TODAY. Attention everyone interested in going to Montreal & Quebec in April 2011. Dates, activities and cost will be discussed at the meeting TODAY at 2:00 in room 327. Please attend or see Mr. Talbot before the meeting. Do you want to be on TV showing the world how smart you are? Consider trying out for the AS SCHOOLS MATCH WITS TEAM. There will be an informational meeting Tuesday, September 7th after school in room 230. ALL ARE WELCOME! The first regular STUDENT COUNCIL meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, September 8th at 7:00pm in the teacher’s cafeteria. An informational meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m.on Wednesday, September 8, in room 118 for any student interested in volunteering their time to work with students with disabilities. Opportunities include participating in the self-advocacy group, Best Buddies, and Special Olympics. Refreshments will be served. Please see Mrs. Elander in room 118 or Mrs. Busiere in room 114 for more information or if you are interested but are unable to attend. We promise it will be the best decision you make this year! There will be a Young Democrats meeting on Wednesday, September 8th. All are welcome. Invite your friends. There will be a brief informational meeting for the sign-language club on Thursday, September 9th in room 236. Anyone interested should attend! Last day of SAT registration is September 10th. Please register at Collegeboard.com. Sophomore Ring Assembly will be September 13th – B period, with parent night for ordering on September 20th from 5:00-7:00. Picture Day for underclassmen will be September 15th. You will be notified when flyers are available. Freshman Class Elections will be September 17th A period. First NHS meeting of the year is Thursday at 2:00pm in the cafeteria. All members must attend & summer points are due! Sports passes will be given.
GUIDANCE Upcoming Colleges visiting the Career Center this month September 16th Bryant University 10:00 You MUST obtain a pass from the Career Center to attend college visits. SPORTS GIRL’S JV VOLLEYBALL practice will be tonight from 6:00-8:00. The GOLF TEAM will be having Sports pictures done on Tuesday, September 7th at 2:30 at Tekoa Country Club. |
