Manufacturing Technology
Manufacturing Technology is the teaching of technology applicable to engineering computer aided design and precision machining. The students are well educated in interpreting of engineering drawings, technical algebra, geometry, trigonometry, computer aided design computer aided manufacturing, geometric dimensioning and telegramming and statistical process control.
There are many careers in manufacturing technology. Such as, precision machining tool and die maker, mechanical or manufacturing engineer, quality control technician and machine tool repair.

Western Massachusetts Chapter of National Tooling and Machining Association is partnering with vocational schools and community colleges in the area in a collaborative effort to insure that the students are prepared with the education and skills they need for employment opportunities following successful completion of the program.
