Lunch Room Mom/Dad ( grandmother,aunt..)

Paper Mill is always looking for substitute help in our cafeteria. If you have some time between 11:15 and 1:15 any day, please contact the office and we will put you on our list of subs.

Field Day

Volunteers are always needed for Paper Mill's Annual Field Day. The fun is divided into two days. One day is for Primary Grades and the other upper grades. Parents are always needed to help organize and run the games on those days. We seem to always be short on the Upper Grade day so if you have some extra time to give, we'd love more hands.

Classroom Aide

Our busy teachers may be looking for some help with classroom activities such as centers, reading groups, Risographing papers for classroom use and many other things. If you can spare some time please contact your child's teacher or e-mail Paper Mill through the CONTACT USlink on the web site.

Parties/Special Occasions

There are a few special days in the school year when a classroom party is held. Each class has room parents for those special occasions. Some classes however may not have anyone able to volunteer to help out with these events. Please contact the office at Paper Mill if you may be able to help out one of those classrooms.

Guided Reading Library

Once a classroom has checked out a set of books from our Guided Reading Library; surprise, they must be checked back in. After the books have been read in your child's classroom, we need parents to help check those class sets of books back into the Guided Reading Library.

At times during each school year, special projects may happen. Parents are always so helpful at these times. Announcements are sent home on a regular basis to let you know what is going on. If a project or special event is of interest to you, please don't hesitate to contact us to see if help is needed. Some examples of these times may be, Holiday Bazaar, Fundraisers, Main Event, Paper Mill Memorial Garden upkeep, Paper Mill Family Night, Book Fair, Bake Sales etc.

Parents are a vital link in a successful school. Thank you for being there for us and especially for your children.
