WELCOME TO MRS. FAHEY'S SECOND GRADE CLASS

Dear Parents,

Grade 2, Room 109, is a great place to be!

Our class has 25 wonderful children. My number one goal is to instill a love of learning and to make school a fun place to be. We spend a lot of time learning to work together and to be respectful, honest, compassionate, caring children

We are very fortunate to have Miss Moulton, as a student teacher from WSC, with us until December 17th.

Our basic daily schedule is:

8:50 - Children enter school-Morning routine (lockers, notes, attend., lunch count, Pledge)

9:15 - Reading

11:00 - Language Arts/ Writing

12:00 - Lunch

12:30 - Sharing and Story

12:45 - Math

1:45 - Recess/Snack

2:15 - Centers

2:50 - End of day routine

3:00 - Dismissal

Folders: Children have a folder that will travel back and forth between home and school. Parents are asked to check the folder each night for notices and homework. This is an opportunity for you to be involved in your children's learning.

Notes: If you child is absent, a note is required. Also, if there is to be a change in the normal routine, please send in a note.

Supplies: Thank you for all of the tissues, wet wipes, cups, etc! Your contributions are greatly appreciated!

Your children are your most precious gift and I think of that each and every day! Our classroom is a safe, loving environment that is conducive to meeting their educational needs.
