Ms. Kells

Hello, My name is Ms. Kells and I am a teacher of Special Education. I work with children within a Resource Room and, at times, within the regular classroom setting. I work with children in Kindergarten through Fifth grade, English and Spanish speaking.

I have worked at Highland for 13 years. I am a graduate of Westfield State College and hold a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, a Masters degree in Special Education and am currently working at AIC on my CAGS in Administration. I am trained in providing services with the Lindamood Verbalization and Visualization program, Cloud 9 Math program, Phonographix, and the Benchmark Program. I am also going through the Voyager U program that gives intense teacher training in the areas of Phonemic Awareness, Phonological Awareness, Fluency, Phonics and Word Study, and Vocabulary.
