PTO Elected Officers:

Purpose:

Facilitate better communication between parents, school faculty and administration.

Advocate for extra-curricular activities.

Support teaching staff by giving volunteer assistance.

To develop a community service project.

Help in developing a good, positive image for Westfield Public Schools.

Functions:

Plan programs which give parents a better understanding of issues that will effect children and meet parents's needs for information.

Publicize meetings of P.T.O.

Serve as a link between parents and school by participating in cooperative activities.

Provide volunteer service to school community.

Work to provide adequate public funding to maintain quality education.
