Cyberbullying, Cybersafety and Parenting Today

Don't Pop Your Cork

In Partnership with the Westfield Public Schools Athletic Department

Keynote Speaker

Mr. Bill Phillips

New Beginnings

Keeping track of teens can be tough for parents and worrying about whether they are drinking or doing drugs can be especially worrisome. This workshop will address substance use issues and help parents develop strategies to parent their children during adolescence when peer pressures are great.

In Partnership with the Westfield Public Schools Technology Department

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Elizabeth K. Englander

Founder and Director of the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center

Cyberbullying has become one of most pressing issues facing children and education today. This workshop will focus on cyber issues, their impact on the wellbeing of our children and what steps parents can take to keep them safe.

In Partnership with the Westfield Public Schools Title 1 Department

Keynote Speaker

Jeanine Fitzgerald

Better Behavior Bureau

No matter how much we love our children or find caring for them fulfilling, parenting is demanding and difficult work. There are no instruction manuals or cookbook recipes for raising happy children. Nor are there mandates that require us to take care of ourselves in the process. This workshop will present the "wheel of wellness" as a way to NTN (nurture the nurturer), not TNT (burn them out and blow them up)!
